R & J Sales and Marketing began in 1980 in response to manufacturers' need for efficient and effective representation at supermarket chains in metro St. Louis and the central United States.

 

Our specialization in perimeter departments enhances our strengths at retail including introduction of new products and product lines, retail sales execution, merchandising, and procurement of incremental sales for our clients and customers through promotion and customized programming.

 

We not only have technological competencies that include category Management, plan-o-grams, scan data analysis, and replenishment, but we have over 100 years combined experience in imported and domestic cheeses and complimentary specialty foods.  R & J has placements in most major deli/food service distributors and retailers in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas.  We currently manage proprietary budget planning systems.

 

We have a relationship with distributors of specialty cheese, both branded and private label.
